Rasierschaum
Rasierschaum is the German term for shaving foam, a foamed cleansing product used primarily for preparing the skin and hair before a shave. The foam is produced by mixing a surfactant solution with air and a small amount of stabilizer, then passing the mixture through a foaming device. Typical surfactants include sodium lauryl sulfate or sodium laureth sulfate, which create bubbles and help lift hair. Hydrating agents such as glycerin and panthenol are added to moisturise the skin, while dyes and fragrance give the product a pleasant appearance and scent.
Commercial shavings foams come in several varieties, differentiated by skin type or shaving technique. Sensitive skin
