Ramillies

Ramillies is a municipality and village in the Belgian province of Walloon Brabant, located in central Belgium. It is a rural community that comprises several local villages united under a single municipal administration. An Allied force led by John Churchill, the Duke of Marlborough, together with Prince Eugene of Savoy, defeated French troops commanded by Marshal Villars. The victory contributed to a shift in control of the Spanish Netherlands and influenced subsequent military and political developments in the region.
