Ragimpert
Ragimpert was a Lombard king who reigned in the late 7th century. He was the son of Rothari, a significant Lombard ruler who codified their laws. Ragimpert's reign was relatively short and marked by internal conflict. He came to power around 643 CE, following the death of his father. However, his claim to the throne was contested by Aripert I, another member of the royal family. This succession dispute led to a period of civil war.
