Rafeindavígfræði

Rafeindavígfræði is the Icelandic term for the field of physics known as quantum mechanics. It is a fundamental theory in physics that provides a description of the physical properties of nature at the scale of atoms and subatomic particles. Unlike classical physics, which describes the world in terms of continuous variables, quantum mechanics introduces the concept of quantization, where certain physical quantities, such as energy and momentum, can only take on discrete values.
