It was created by linguist Ari Voss in 2012 and has since been developed further by writers and fans who expand its grammar, vocabulary, and usage in stories and guides.

Phonology and script: RSVPien has a phonemic inventory centered on five vowels and a moderate set of consonants, with syllable structure typically limited to CV or CVC.
