RNaseZap
RNaseZap is a commercially available cleaning solution designed to remove RNase contamination from laboratory surfaces and reusable labware. Ribonucleases (RNases) are enzymes that degrade RNA, making their presence in molecular biology experiments highly problematic as they can lead to the loss of precious RNA samples. RNaseZap is formulated to denature and inactivate these enzymes, thus preventing them from interfering with downstream RNA-related applications such as RT-PCR, RNA sequencing, and Northern blotting.
The solution typically contains detergents and other active ingredients that help to break down and solubilize
