RHsetpoint
RHsetpoint refers to the target relative humidity that a climate control or environmental management system aims to maintain within a defined space or zone. It is the desired humidity level used by controllers to determine when to activate humidification or dehumidification equipment. Because relative humidity depends on temperature, the same RHsetpoint can correspond to different moisture levels if the air temperature changes.
In operation, RHsetpoint is typically implemented with feedback control that compares actual readings from humidity sensors
Applications span many fields. In commercial buildings, maintaining a comfortable RHsetpoint supports occupant comfort and indoor
Common target ranges differ by application but are often around 40–60% RH for general comfort, with tighter
