RENPs

RENPs, or Resident Evil Next-generation Prototypes, are a series of experimental bio-organic weapons developed by the Umbrella Corporation. These creatures are designed to be highly adaptable and deadly, serving as both biological weapons and test subjects for Umbrella's advanced biotechnology. RENPs are created through a process involving genetic engineering and the use of the T-virus, a pathogen that enhances their combat abilities and resistance to environmental hazards.

The first RENP, known as Tyrant, was created in 1998 and was intended to be used in a biological warfare program. However, the experiment went awry, leading to the release of the T-virus into the environment and the subsequent outbreak of the Raccoon City incident. This event marked the beginning of the Resident Evil series and the widespread use of RENPs in various locations around the world.

RENPs are characterized by their unique abilities, such as enhanced strength, speed, and regenerative capabilities. They are also equipped with advanced weaponry, including firearms and melee weapons, making them formidable opponents. The most notable RENPs include Tyrant, the original prototype; Joker, a more advanced version with improved combat skills; and King, a powerful and intelligent RENP with the ability to control other RENPs.
