Raleigh-Durham International Airport, commonly referred to as RDU (IATA code RDU, ICAO code KRDU), is a public international airport serving the Raleigh–Durham area of North Carolina, United States. It is located in Morrisville, roughly midway between the cities of Raleigh and Durham, and serves as a major air gateway for the Research Triangle region. The airport is owned by the City of Raleigh and operated by the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority, a joint municipal authority.
