RAIDtípusú, often translated as RAID type, refers to the different configurations and methodologies used in implementing Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) technology. RAID is a data storage virtualization technology that combines multiple physical disk drives into one or more logical units for the purposes of data redundancy, performance improvement, or both. Each RAID type, or level, offers a different balance between these objectives.
