QuiGon

Qui-Gon Jinn is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. He appears as a Jedi Master who serves the Galactic Republic during the era of the late Republic. Introduced in The Phantom Menace (1999), he is portrayed by Liam Neeson and is known for his unorthodox approach, strong connection to the Living Force, and willingness to challenge the Jedi Council.

Qui-Gon is notable for his independence from Council rulings and his philosophy of following the will of the Force as it reveals itself in the present moment. He favors pragmatic solutions and direct action, and he often acts as a mentor to Obi-Wan Kenobi. He wields a green-bladed lightsaber.
