Qentean is a fictional species and setting primarily featured in the Star Trek expanded universe, particularly within the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine novels and related media. The Qentean are an advanced, post-biological civilization that has transcended their physical forms through a process known as "transcendence." They exist as pure energy, capable of interacting with the universe in ways that defy conventional physics, including time manipulation and direct influence over matter and energy.

The Qentean civilization is depicted as highly evolved, having achieved a state of near-omniscience and omnipotence. Their society operates on principles of collective consciousness, where individuality is subsumed for the greater good of the collective.
