Qarorlari

Qarorlari is an Uzbek linguistic form used to express the idea of “their decisions,” or more generally, the possessions of a third-person plural group in relation to the noun qaror (decision). It is formed by taking the base qaror, adding the plural suffix -lar to yield qarorlar, and then attaching the third-person plural possessive suffix -lari, resulting in qarorlari. This creates a noun phrase that clearly indicates that the decisions belong to a group rather than to a single person.

In Uzbek, possessive and plural suffixes follow a noun, and qarorlari demonstrates how multiple suffixes can combine to convey both number and possession in a single word. The form is common in formal, administrative, and journalistic contexts, where it is important to attribute decisions to a group such as a council, committee, or organization. It is distinct from the simple plural qarorlar (decisions), which does not carry an explicit possessive reference.

- Qarorlari typically refers to decisions belonging to a defined group. The possessor can be implicit or stated elsewhere in the sentence (often through another noun with a possessive marker, such as kengashning qarorlari, “the council’s decisions”).

- The form is common in media reports, legal texts, and official communications when attributing decisions to an actor or body.
