These deposits are typically composed of a mixture of mineral precipitates, such as calcium carbonate and rust, as well as organic matter, debris, and sometimes even microbial growth. Over time, these substances can adhere to the inner surfaces of pipes, gradually reducing the diameter and restricting water flow.
