Putkilämmittimet

Putkilämmittimet, also known as tubular heaters, are versatile electrical resistance heating elements used for a wide range of heating applications. They consist of a resistive wire coil enclosed within a metal sheath, typically made of stainless steel, copper, or Incoloy. This sheath is usually filled with an insulating powder, most commonly magnesium oxide, which surrounds the resistive element and provides electrical insulation and excellent thermal conductivity.

The construction of a putkilämmitin allows for efficient heat transfer to the surrounding environment. When an electrical current is passed through the resistive wire, it heats up due to electrical resistance.
