Pulsoid is a term used in the context of certain types of electromagnetic phenomena and speculative physics theories, particularly within fringe or alternative science communities. The concept emerged from discussions surrounding unexplained electromagnetic events, often associated with UFO sightings or anomalous energy signatures. The term "pulsoid" was coined to describe a hypothetical form of energy or radiation that could explain some of these unexplained observations, such as unexplained lights, electromagnetic pulses, or other unexplained phenomena.

Proponents of the pulsoid theory suggest that it could be a form of directed energy, possibly emitted by advanced extraterrestrial technology or other unknown sources.
