Prøvemængde

Prøvemængde, often translated as sample size, refers to the number of individuals or observations included in a statistical study or experiment. The determination of an appropriate prøvemængde is a critical step in research design, as it directly impacts the reliability and validity of the findings. A sample size that is too small may not be representative of the population being studied, leading to inaccurate conclusions and potentially failing to detect statistically significant effects. Conversely, an excessively large prøvemængde can be costly, time-consuming, and ethically questionable if it exposes more participants than necessary to potential risks.
