**Prítomnosti** refers to the grammatical concept of the present tense in Czech, a category used to describe actions, states, or events occurring at the time of speaking or within a short time frame around it. In Czech grammar, the present tense is one of the primary verb conjugations, alongside the past (minulý čas) and future (budoucí čas) tenses. It is essential for expressing immediate actions, habitual behaviors, or general truths.

The formation of the present tense in Czech varies depending on the verb type. Regular verbs typically follow predictable patterns, such as adding specific endings to the stem of the verb. For example, the verb *mluvit* ("to speak") conjugates as *mluvím* (I speak), *mluvíš* (you speak), *mluví* (he/she speaks), and so on.
