Proponor

Proponor is a Latin verb form meaning “to be proposed” or “to be set forth.” It is the present passive indicative form of the verb proponere, which itself means to place forward, to propose, or to present. In Latin, the passive voice expresses that the action is performed on the subject by someone else, or is being stated as something that is presented.

Grammatically, proponere belongs to the third conjugation. The base active form is propono, proponere, proposui, propositum, while the present passive forms include proponor, proponeris, proponitur, proponimur, proponimini, proponuntur. The present passive stem is propon-, with standard Latin inflection added for person and number. The perfect passive participle is propositus (with related forms such as propositi), used to form compound tenses with sum.
