In scholarly writing, prognoositavamaid typically denotes a set of variables characterized by identifiable patterns, stability, or separable signal from noise.

Assessment and criteria: Forecastability is context-dependent and hinges on factors such as data frequency, forecasting horizon, and model class. Common considerations include the strength of seasonal or trend components, autocorrelation, regime stability, and the signal-to-noise ratio.
