Productcatalog is a structured collection of information about products offered by a business, intended to support sales, marketing, and operations. It can be printed, delivered as a digital document, or hosted online within an e-commerce platform. Online catalogs often power a company site or marketplace storefront and may include rich media, variants, and dynamic pricing.

A catalog typically catalogs data around a product record with a unique identifier such as a SKU, a name, a description, a category, and a price. Additional attributes cover specifications, dimensions, weight, color, size, material, images, and media. Records may reference supplier information, stock status, taxonomy, and promotions. Many organizations use a product information management (PIM) system that integrates with ERP, CRM, and digital asset management to ensure data consistency across channels.

Functions commonly include search and filtering, faceted navigation, support for product variants, localization and currency handling, publishing workflows, and multi-channel redistribution via feeds, APIs, or content management systems.
