Procesactie refers to a legal procedure in Dutch law, primarily used in civil litigation, where a party seeks to enforce a judgment or other court decision. The term is derived from the Dutch words "proces" (meaning "legal procedure" or "case") and "actie" (meaning "action" or "suit"). This process is typically initiated when one party fails to comply with a court order, such as failing to pay a debt, perform an obligation, or fulfill a contractual duty as mandated by a judgment.

In Dutch civil procedure, a procesactie is often the final step in enforcing a court decision. It involves a formal request to the court to take further action, such as seizing assets, freezing bank accounts, or issuing a writ of execution. The procedure is governed by the Dutch Civil Procedure Act (*Wetboek van Burgerlijke Rechtsvordering*, or WvBR) and is designed to ensure that court orders are respected and enforced.

The process begins with the creditor (the party seeking enforcement) filing a petition with the court, detailing the non-compliance of the debtor (the party obligated to act).
