Prebeginnings

Prebeginnings refers to the theoretical or speculative conditions that may have existed prior to the generally accepted origin of the universe. This concept delves into the philosophical and scientific inquiry into what, if anything, preceded the Big Bang. Modern cosmology, as it is currently understood, begins with the Big Bang approximately 13.8 billion years ago, a point from which space, time, matter, and energy are thought to have originated.

However, the question of what existed "before" the Big Bang remains a subject of intense debate and theoretical exploration. Some cosmological models propose scenarios such as cyclical universes, where the current universe is one in a series of expansions and contractions, implying a previous universe that collapsed.
