Príkladné

Príkladné is a Slovak adjective that translates to "exemplary," "model," or "ideal" in English. It is used to describe something that serves as a perfect example or standard to be followed. This can apply to people, actions, behavior, or even objects and situations that exhibit high quality, positive attributes, or perfect adherence to a norm.

In everyday usage, príkladné behavior often refers to conduct that is exceptionally good, polite, and respectful, setting a positive example for others, especially children. For instance, a student who consistently performs well, shows good manners, and helps classmates might be described as having príkladné správanie (exemplary behavior). Similarly, an employee who is dedicated, efficient, and contributes positively to the workplace could be said to have a príkladné prístup (exemplary approach).

The term can also extend to abstract concepts. A community that effectively manages its resources and fosters strong social bonds might be considered a príkladné spoločenstvo (exemplary community). In a more formal context, a scientific study or a piece of legislation could be praised as príkladné if it sets a high standard for its field. The core idea behind príkladné is that it represents a benchmark of excellence that others can aspire to or learn from.
