Pozidrivscrewdriver
A Pozidriv screwdriver is a type of manual screwdriver used to drive screws with a Pozidriv drive recess. The Pozidriv drive is an improvement over the Phillips drive, designed to prevent cam-out, a phenomenon where the screwdriver bit slips out of the screw head under torque. Pozidriv screws are identifiable by their characteristic four-pointed star shape within the cross recess, with an additional set of smaller diagonal notches, or "ribs," between the main slots. These ribs are a key feature that differentiates Pozidriv from Phillips screws.
The Pozidriv system was developed in the United Kingdom and is commonly found in European manufactured goods.
