Poolaastas
Poolaastas, also known as the Pool of the South, is a large, shallow lake located in the southern part of Estonia. It is part of the Pärnu Bay, which is a sub-basin of the Baltic Sea. The lake is approximately 12 kilometers long and 5 kilometers wide, with an average depth of about 1.5 meters. Poolaastas is connected to the Baltic Sea through a narrow strait, allowing for the exchange of water and marine life between the two bodies of water.
