Pooh
Winnie-the-Pooh, commonly called Pooh, is a fictional teddy bear created by English author A. A. Milne. He appears in Winnie-the-Pooh (1926) and The House at Pooh Corner (1928), living in the Hundred Acre Wood with friends Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Kanga, Roo, and Christopher Robin Milne. The name Pooh is linked to a real bear named Winnipeg (Winnie) who lived at the London Zoo in the 1920s, a bear Milne reportedly encountered.
