Pontevedra

Pontevedra is a city and municipality in the autonomous community of Galicia in northwestern Spain, and the capital of the province of Pontevedra. It lies on the Atlantic coast at the mouth of the Lérez River, within the Ría de Pontevedra, and has long been an important regional center for port activity, trade, and administration.
