PoWjärjestelmässä, often translated as "in a PoW system," refers to the operational state or context within a Proof-of-Work (PoW) blockchain network. Proof-of-Work is a consensus mechanism used by many cryptocurrencies, most notably Bitcoin, to validate transactions and add new blocks to the blockchain. In a PoWjärjestelmässä, network participants, known as miners, compete to solve complex mathematical problems. The first miner to solve the problem is rewarded with newly created cryptocurrency and transaction fees, and their solution is used to confirm a new block of transactions.
