Pioneren is a fictional municipality in the northern archipelago of Eldoria, used in worldbuilding and speculative fiction. It is located on the main island of Valenfell, and its landscape includes mixed forests, river valleys, and patchwork farmland.

The settlement that became Pioneren was established in the late 18th century by agrarian reformers seeking to reorganize landholdings. It grew gradually and achieved municipal recognition in the early 19th century, developing a market town character around its central square and harbor.

Administratively, Pioneren is governed by a locally elected council and a mayor. The council has 11 members, with standing committees for planning, education, culture, and finance. It belongs to the county of North Eldoria and participates in regional councils that coordinate infrastructure, environmental protection, and emergency services.
