Pingete
Pingete is a traditional wind instrument associated with coastal communities of the Vesarin archipelago. The term derives from the Vesarin language and denotes a small, handheld flute-like object used in music and signaling. The instrument is typically carved from driftwood or light hardwood and measures about 5 to 8 centimeters in length. It features a single mouthhole on one end and one or two tone holes along the top edge, which allow for a limited but distinct melodic range.
