Pienjänniteverkko
Pienjänniteverkko refers to the low-voltage electricity distribution network. In Finland, this typically signifies a voltage level of 230/400 volts between phase and neutral/ground and between phases respectively. This is the final stage of the electricity supply system, delivering power directly to homes, businesses, and other end-users. The pienjänniteverkko is supplied by the keskijänniteverkko (medium-voltage network) through distribution transformers. These transformers step down the higher voltage from the medium-voltage lines to the safe and usable low voltage levels.
The infrastructure of a pienjänniteverkko includes underground cables and overhead power lines, along with numerous smaller
