Pesukeskused

Pesukeskused refers to the deployment of technologically advanced aircraft equipped with avionics and other electronic warfare capabilities for monitoring and disrupting enemy air defense systems. These specialized aircraft are designed to penetrate deep into enemy airspace, locate, identify, and suppress air defense networks, enabling friendly forces to operate with increased freedom.

Pesukeskused originated as a Soviet Union military doctrine aimed at countering the Western air forces' advantage in radar and air defense capabilities. Soviet engineers developed dedicated aircraft, such as the Tupolev Tu-28 and Tupolev Tu-141, designed to withstand hostile missile fire and electronic countermeasures.

Their primary mission involves detecting and tagging enemy radar networks, as well as blinding or interfering with their command and control systems. Pesukeskused is based on a combination of reconnaissance, electronic warfare, and intelligence gathering. To achieve this, planes are typically equipped with electronic deception systems, such as Identify Friend or Foe (IFF), and broadcasting devices that mimic friendly aircraft characteristics to confuse radar systems.

These advanced aircraft enable coherent mapping of enemy airspace infrastructure, ultimately aiding in tactical operations by identifying vulnerabilities in enemy air defense systems. The development of such tactics has shifted modern warfare, leaving air defenses scrambling to cope with the challenges posed by visually stealthy, high-tech enemies and disoriented, hidden procedures.

Although modernized varieties of pesukeskused are still prominent components of a few military doctrine the cornerstone of once prevalent early cold war practice, they have relatively been upgraded and branched off to combine into multiple distinct modernized subunits.
