Perthshires
Perthshires is a term that can refer to a few different things, though most commonly it relates to the historic county of Perthshire in Scotland. Perthshire, also known as the County of Perth, was one of the 33 traditional counties of Scotland. It was located in the centre of the country and bordered Argyll, Stirling, Clackmannan, Fife, Forfar, Aberdeenshire, and Invernessshire. The county town was Perth. Historically, Perthshire was renowned for its diverse landscapes, including fertile agricultural land in the south, the mountainous Grampian Mountains in the north, and numerous lochs and forests.
In modern times, the administrative boundaries of Perthshire have been absorbed into larger regions. From 1975
The term "Perthshires" might also, in a less common usage, refer to a pluralization of the county
