Perrecording

Practical use: streaming platforms and rights ecosystems may distinguish between per-recording and per-album licensing for clarity in rights administration, while music catalogs and rights management systems may implement per-recording tagging to support granular reporting.

Standards and terminology: there is no single standard definition or formal standard for perrecording. It often maps to existing terms like recording versus track or recording ID in metadata schemas (such as ID3, Dublin Core, or schema.org) but is used inconsistently.
