Peroksiid

Peroksiid is a chemical compound containing an oxygen-oxygen single bond. The simplest peroksiid is hydrogen peroksiid, with the chemical formula H2O2. Many peroksiids are unstable and can decompose explosively. They are often used as oxidizing agents, bleaching agents, and disinfectants.
