Periquitos

Periquitos, commonly known as budgerigars or budgies, are small, long-tailed seed-eating parrots that are native to Australia. They are the only species in the genus Melopsittacus. Wild periquitos are typically green and yellow with black markings on their wings and head, but selective breeding in captivity has produced a wide variety of colors, including blue, white, grey, and various shades of green and yellow.
