Pemmo

Pemmo, also known as Pemmo of Freising, was a Bavarian bishop and missionary who lived in the 8th century. He is recognized for his role in the Christianization of Bavaria and for his association with the Freising monastery. Born into a noble family, Pemmo received a good education and was appointed Bishop of Freising.

As bishop, Pemmo was actively involved in evangelizing the pagan populations of Bavaria.
