Pelipper

Pelipper is a Water and Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It evolves from Wingull starting at level 25. Pelipper is characterized by its large, prominent beak, which it uses to store and carry water. Its body is primarily blue with white underparts and a crest of blue feathers on its head. Pelipper are often found in coastal areas and on islands, where they can be seen flying gracefully through the air or diving into the water to catch prey.

The species is known for its ability to carry large amounts of water in its beak, which it can then use for various purposes, such as helping to put out fires or even delivering supplies to people. Their distinctive large beaks are their most notable feature, often appearing somewhat comical. Pelipper are generally depicted as diligent and helpful Pokémon, though their immense capacity for carrying water can sometimes lead to humorous situations if they are overloaded.

In battle, Pelipper's dual Water/Flying typing gives it resistances to Bug, Steel, Fire, and Water-type moves, but it is weak to Electric and Rock-type attacks. Its abilities, Keen Eye and Drizzle, further influence its battle capabilities. Keen Eye prevents its accuracy from being lowered, while Drizzle summons rain upon entering battle, boosting the power of Water-type moves and weakening Fire-type moves. Pelipper is a common sight in the Hoenn region and has appeared in various Pokémon media, including the anime, trading card game, and other video games.
