Peilikohteen

Peilikohteen is a Finnish noun form that appears as the genitive singular of the compound peilikohde, literally meaning “the mirror object.” The term is used in technical or educational contexts to refer to the subject or object placed before a reflective surface in optics, photography, or related experiments. Because peilikohde is a compound that combines peili (mirror) and kohde (object/target), peilikohteen specifies a relationship to the mirror within a description, such as position, distance, or orientation.
