Patronfiltrering

Patronfiltrering is a method of industrial filtration that utilizes cylindrical filter elements, known as cartridges or patrons, to separate solid particles from a liquid or gas stream. These cartridges are typically housed within a pressure vessel, and the fluid is forced through the porous material of the cartridge, trapping the impurities. The design of patron filters allows for efficient removal of a wide range of particle sizes, from coarse debris to very fine sediment.

The materials used for patron filters vary depending on the application and the nature of the contaminants. Common materials include paper, felt, woven fabrics, and specialized membranes. The pore size of the filter medium is a critical factor in determining the filtration efficiency, with smaller pore sizes capable of capturing smaller particles.
