Patisteria
Patisteria is a genus of flowering plants in the family Bignoniaceae. It was described as a genus in 1824 by the French botanist Augustin Saint-Hilaire. The name "patisteria" is derived from the Portuguese word "pateca," which refers to a type of gourd or calabash, possibly referencing the fruit shape of some species.
The genus currently includes a few species, primarily native to South America, with a concentration in Brazil.
