Parandustegurid

Parandustegurid, also known as parandustegurs or parandustegursid, are a group of ancient structures found in Estonia, particularly in the region of Saaremaa. These structures are characterized by their unique design and purpose, which remains a subject of debate among historians and archaeologists. The term "parandustegur" translates to "repair house" in Estonian, reflecting one of the proposed functions of these structures.

The parandustegurid are typically small, rectangular buildings with a single room, often found in clusters. They are usually made of wood and thatch, with some examples also incorporating stone. The most notable parandustegurid are located in the village of Pöide, where they are part of a larger archaeological site known as the Pöide hoard.
