Panthéon-Sorbonne University, officially Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, is a public research university in Paris, France. The institution concentrates on humanities and social sciences, offering programs in law, economics and management, history, geography, philosophy, languages and literature, political science, and related disciplines.

Panthéon-Sorbonne traces its origins to the historic University of Paris. Following the reforms of 1968, the university system was reorganized in 1970 into several successor universities. Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne was created in 1970–71 as a multidisciplinary institution emphasizing the humanities and social sciences, drawing on the Sorbonne and Panthéon heritage.
