Paintfilled

Paintfilled is an adjective used to describe a surface or object in which paint has been introduced to fill pores, voids, or textures, producing a uniform color and smooth appearance. The term is not a standardized technical designation and is applied descriptively across several industries.

In woodworking and furniture finishing, paint-filled finishes use a filler or glaze to fill the grain or pores before applying the final coat. This can reduce visible grain, create a solid-color look, and improve surface smoothness. The method adds steps and can obscure texture if not desired.
