Pagani Automobili S.p.A. is an Italian manufacturer of high-performance automobiles founded in 1992 by Horacio Pagani. The company is headquartered in San Cesario sul Panaro, near Modena, in northern Italy. Pagani specializes in handmade, low-volume supercars that emphasize advanced composite materials, craftsmanship, and distinctive design.

The brand's initial model line, the Zonda, debuted in 1999 and established Pagani’s reputation for extreme performance and exclusivity. Zonda variants were powered by Mercedes-Benz V12 engines and featured bespoke interiors, with several special editions and track-focused versions such as the Zonda R. The second core line, the Huayra, was launched in 2011 and uses a Mercedes-AMG V12 twin-turbo engine. The name Huayra, like Zonda, alludes to wind; Pagani has produced various Huayra variants including roadster and high-performance editions, each maintaining the company’s emphasis on aerodynamics and craftsmanship.

Pagani operates a bespoke production model, building cars to customer specification with a limited annual output. The company has established itself as a prominent, though niche, participant in the hypercar segment, competing on performance, exclusivity, and design rather than mass production. Its vehicles are widely regarded for their use of carbon fiber, hand-finishing, and hand-built interiors, reflecting a philosophy of artisanal automotive luxury.
