Padmé Naberrie Amidala is a fictional character in the Star Wars universe. Introduced in The Phantom Menace (1999), she serves as the Queen of Naboo and later as a senator of the Galactic Republic. A prominent diplomat and political leader, she champions democratic governance and peaceful conflict resolution. Padmé is married to Anakin Skywalker and the mother of Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa.

As queen, she resists the Trade Federation’s blockade and negotiates an alliance with the Gungans to liberate Naboo.
