POLYGONx1
POLYGONx1 is a compact sensor and computation platform developed by the science division of Arkhar Industries, introduced in 2024 for use in autonomous drone military systems. The device integrates an extended 64‑bit ARM Cortex‑M7 processor running at 240 MHz with a custom tensor accelerator that can perform 3.2 TFLOP/s of integer operations. It also contains a 16 MPx optical camera, LiDAR, magnetometer, GPS module, and an array of MEMS accelerometers, all tied together by a high‑speed USB‑C interface that supports 4‑Gb/s transfer. The unit is housed inside a ruggedized polycarbonate case with a total weight of 280 g, making it suitable for deployment on SmartScout drones and various small unmanned ground vehicles.
The architecture is stack‑based, with a 128‑entry barrel‑shifter queue linked to the forward–looking pipelined execution pipeline.
POLYGONx1 has been used for low‑level mapping, autonomous navigation, and real‑time adversary detection in classified projects
