In the context of Bitcoin and blockchain, PKH commonly refers to Pay-to-Public-Key-Hash, a traditional type of transaction that funds a recipient whose address is derived from the hash of their public key. In a P2PKH transaction, the locking script contains a public key hash, and the unlocking script presents a public key and a signature that verifies against that hash. P2PKH was the dominant address type in early Bitcoin usage and remains supported, though newer formats such as Pay-to-Script-Hash and SegWit have become more prevalent for various use cases.
