In the commonly described framework, PI3Ksignaler facilitates the localization of Class I PI3K to sites of receptor engagement, promoting the conversion of phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2) to phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate (PIP3).
